David Pratt is a founder and principal for Lorax Partnerships. He is a LEED-accredited professional and frequently speaks at industry events on green building topics. He is a founding executive board member and Past-President of the Baltimore Regional Chapter of the US Green Building Council. Through this advocacy role he has helped initiate and successfully pass landmark green building legislation all across the state of Maryland. David is a Commissioner for the Howard County Commission on the Environment and Sustainability, a governor appointee for the Maryland Green Building Council and a Commissioner for the Howard Community College Commission on the Future.
Lorax Partnerships is a green building consulting, marketing and development services company located in Columbia, Maryland. Lorax provide clients with the means to justify green building projects economically and help them implement environmentally efficient solutions. They also help companies/organizations create environmental policies to reduce waste, increase effectiveness and improve profitability.
